1947: Yonghua Caustic Soda Company founded, specializing in sulphur black and Sodium sulfide production.
1957: Sodium sulfide product is recognized as “Flagship Sodium Sulfide” on the international market.
1959: China invents new kiln gas technology for producing barium carbonate and starts exporting it the same year.
1964: The expression “Learning and catching up with Xinji” is introduced at a National Chemical Industry Dept conference.
1965: The 4,000 t/y barium sulfate production line goes into operation as China’s first continuous production line.
1977: The company joins the Chinese list of 5000 Key Enterprises and its barium nitrate wins Chairman Mao Memorial Hall Engineering Prize.
1982: Sulphur product wins National Quality Products Silver Prize and seven of the company’s products win provincial and higher Quality Product titles, making it Hebei’s first “general excellence” company.
1983: Barium nitrate, barium carbonate and barium sulfate win Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation Export Product Quality award..
1984: Company wins dumping case brought by the US’ CPC Co.
1985: Company joins the National Economic Commission’s National Mid-sized and Large Backbone Enterprise rankings.
1986: National Economic Commission’s: “Six-Five Straight A Technical Progress Advanced Enterprise” award.
1987: Quality Supervision and Inspection Office gains Level 1 Quality Inspection Agency recognition .
1988: Vice-chairman of the Party’s National Committee, Wang Renzhong, visits the company and writes the words “Seagull soaring over the five continents” for use as an inscription to represent the company.
1989: Granular barium carbonate product wins national Silver Prize and powdery barium carbonate and barium nitrate win a ministry prize; all of the company’s products have, by now, won ministry, or higher, high quality awards.
1990: Company becomes Level-II Enterprise.
1991; Company becomes 8th Five-Year Plan barium salt base for production, technical Improvements and foreign exchange earnings and merges with the Xinji chemical fertilizer factory.
1992: Company recognized as Large B-level Enterprise and is given import-export license, and earns $11million in foreign exchange; founds Hebei barium salt, with output of up to 100,000 tons, making the company become the world’s biggest barium salt producer, surpassing Germany.
1993: Gu Xiulian, minister of chemical industry, visits the company and writes the words, “Developing barium salt production to increase foreign exchange”, as an inscription for the company.
1994: Vice-chairman of the National People's Congress Li Ximing visits the company and writes, “China’s Barium Salt City” as an inscription for the company.
1996: Hebei Xinji Barium Salt Group was founded officially, which became one of the 21 largest business conglomerates.
1999: Company joins the by State Economic and Trade Commission’s 520 Key National Enterprises list, with State Council approval.
2000: Company joins the China Haohua Chemical (Group) Corp.
2001: Certified ISO9002 Quality System accreditation; company renamed as the Hebei Xinji Chemical Industry Group Co Ltd
2003: A 50,000-t/y-barium carbonate and 8,000-t/y-sulphur project goes into operation for the Guizhou Tianzhu Co; a “Three Representatives” exchange opens at the Haohua Corp; company becomes a National Large Industry Enterprise.
2004: The Tianzhu Xinji barium salt first-stage project goes into operation; “Wuzhou” brand declared a Famous Hebei Trademark; 10,000-ton-potassium carbonate and 8,000-ton-ammonium chloride project goes into operation.
2005: Barium sulfate project of the Pingli Co has a foundation laying and phase-II of the Tianzhu Co begins.
2006: ”Wuzhou” brand declared “Famous Chinese Trademark” by State Administration for Industry and Commerce; 40,000-t/yr-barium sulfate with 20,000-tons-sodium sulfide byproduct project goes into operation; Phase-II of Tianzhu Co goes into operation.
May 19, 2007: Company’s 60th Anniversary celebration.
2008: Synthesized ammonia capacity reaches 60,000 tons after technical improvements and expansion; 5,000-ton-thiourea project for Tianzhu Co goes into operation.
2009: Company settles 240 million yuan issue; 120,000-ton/yr-peptide ammonium and 5,000-ton/yr barium nitrate project goes into operation.
2010: Company purchases barite mine in Tianzhu county, and adopts continual improvement management ideas as part of management reform.
